I honestly thought he was already dead. I grew up listening to Murray, back in the days of prost, senna & mansell. He absolutely elevated what was already a fantastic sport back then. True legend of broadcasting. Full of character and seemed like a real gent.

He was one of the greatest commentators. One of those synonymous with the sport that they commentate on, like Peter Alliss, Syd Waddell, Ted Lowe, Harry Carpenter, Brian Moore.
